I still have a set or two of these for sale.
Included pieces all unpainted.
Kit includes:
2 sets of poles.
Mounting and holding brackets.
*Tie down cork screws.
Tie down ratchets and straps.
All hardware needed.

These awning poles are a collaboration of old coots brackets and my poles.

User Essness has a set as well as johnt I belive was the name among the many others that old coot sold on his own.

From a dingbat who wishes she'd gotten a set from OC, what are the poles made of , metal or pvc, and whatcha want for 'em? Probably metal since ya mentioned painting, but pvc *can* be painted now.

I do have to shamefully admit- I bought a set of these awning poles back in April from Coot. I never got around to installing/using them because I kept claiming that I was going to paint them before putting them up. Well, that never happened.

I brought them along for this camping trip (2 weeks) because I knew we'd want to be able to keep the awning out. These things have been AWESOME! It's so nice to take the stress of our awning away.

In all seriously, I want to thank Neil/Old Coot for these. They're a brilliant idea and I thank him for the peace of mind. It really changed how we were able to camp (for the BETTER!) this trip.

X2

Seems every trip I get told I better store my awning. I simply keep an eye on the sky, and so far, even with the huge 20' awning, it holds great while tied down and tilted for rain runoff.
Thanks OC!
