I live in Florida where storms blow in without notice. Let me tell you, these poles are awesome. They support the awning rock solid even in the winds and downpours we get here in the summer.
I was going to paint mine but never got around to it. They look fine the way they are.

I think OC & T Manufacturing voids the warranty if they did not get painted before install!

But you can attach a bike rack to them and still be under warranty...

Manual awning doemtic awnings have the poles built in.

The lower arm unhooks from the body and swings down.

I know the poles come off the camper but I am hesitant about doing it that way because of excessive sag in the middle of the awning 25' so I was thinking about using awning poles hooked to the camper and using your down poles at the same time? Can you PM me a price to Cincinnati, Ohio 45215 thanks,

Ed

For those with questions about where to keep them when not in use, mine are attached at the top with OC's brackets and then clip into the bottom. The installation was easy and very straight forward. Start to finish (not including the painting) 45 mins.
For me, it's soooo much easier than jumping up everytime the breeze picks up.

I can still deploy the awning without using the poles if I want by leaving them clipped at the bottom.

For all you that have bought awning poles from me there is an updated lower attaching bracket that I reconfigured to be able to lock them securely.
I think I've contacted everyone and your kit may allready have them or I'm shipping out the new pieces.

Bracket in raw form.
