Awning smell

Every time we unroll the awning it smells horrible. It is almost always wet on the inside. Any idea's how to stop that?

Bleach and let it dry out . even when rolled up the moisture will wick into the awnings.
nothing you can do but open frequently and air out

it is important to dry your awning before stowing it. If you can't do it when you leave the camp site do it when you get home. does not hurt to wash the awning once and awhile IMHO

I got a tip off this very site... whatever product you use to wash the awning, soak it thoroughly and roll it back up to let the cleaner soak for a half hour or so. Extend, scrub, rinse and repeat as necessary. Make sure to rinse the top too.
