I added backup lights to my tt and the wire was yellow and was already at the rear.

I bought a $100 wireless baby monitor at Walmart. I mounted the camera in a magnetic parts bowl. I place it on my truck license plate while hooking up to my tt. I place it on the tt's rear bumper while backing into a site. Another advantage is that the monitor has a built in microphone so that I can hear the wife if she is helping to spot me. I get great reception with it. My tt is 35' and my tv is a supercab with 8' bed.
