Backup/Observation Camera

My 2918 Rockwood Roo 19 came "prewired" for a Furrion camera, so..I purchased one. Said I'd be up and running in 15 minutes! HAHA! It's now been two days of trial and error.

The camera And monitor both work great...plugged into electrical inside the camper....
But the camera does NOT work when plugged into the Preinstalled Wiring" on the back of camper. We are not sure if the wiring is hot, because we had no way to test it, (yet), but, I thought I'd ask seasoned, experienced campers if I'm missing something that needs to make this wiring hot.
I had my camper plugged into the truck with it running also....nothing.....
I also use a brake sensor on my seven pin plug.

So frustrating...
Thanks in advance for any advice!

I haven't purchased my Furrion yet, but from reading I have seen that many times you'll only get power if your running lights are turned on in the tow vehicle. Did you try with the lights on?

Yep, the tow vehicle's lights must be on.

Easily the best thing I've bought for my trailer thus far. It's nice having a "rear view mirror" while towing. Just gotta remember to turn my running lights on...

Not the worst thing in the world. Some states require it while towing.

For those with factory-installed daytime running lights and auto-on lights, your marker lights are not typically turned on automatically during the day so you’ll need to manually turn the marker lights on.
