Banks or Brazel's Engine Upgrade

I own a 2004 Georgetown 370TS XL and am considering either a Banks Power Pack or Brazel's UltraPower upgrade. Reason for the upgrade is performance based vs. gas mileage. Has anyone done either upgrade and will you share your feelings of satisfaction or dissatisfaction, and your reasons?

Be sure to ask around with different certified shops about the Banks kit if you have the Ford V10. Some friends of ours were scheduled into a shop to have this done on their Fleetwood motorhome with the V10 a couple of years ago. I told them there was a shop a lot closer than the one they were going to use (they were from out of town) and advised they call them and see if the price was any better. (long story longer) the local shop is an authorized Banks dealer and installer and very well known for their good work. The guy there stated they would not install the Banks kit on their rig as they had had too many problems with it burning up the V10 for some reason. It takes a lot of guts and integrity for a shop to turn down what I am sure was well over $2500 worth of work in order to be truthfull.

I don't know what years or kits they are refering too but hopefully you can get in touch with a good impartial mechanic that will give you the straight scoop.

Just to be clear i'm not infering that Banks is a bad company or makes bad products, it was just this one kit for the V10 that was an issue. Perhaps things have been re-designed since then too. Just ask a lot of questions.
