Well, the fact is I was somewhat forced to change out the jack...

I went to pick it up from storage, and when I used the manual jack to lift the truck/trailer hitched together to put the load-levelers on, it jumped out of the screw. I couldn't get it back in. So I said to myself, "Self, It looks like now is a good time to put on the electric jack."

Yes, I did... That way it keeps those, "You never answer me" arguments to a minimum.

jenielsen,
Tracked this thread down for the info, and your last post brought a smile to my face, again.

MrSen,
Did you end up going with a power jack on your 25RS?
If so, which one?

I think this is next on my list, but I wonder if the 3500# barker with 2-1/4" tube will be too tight to fit the coupler mounting plates...
I didnít trust the tape measure, so actually ended up measuring the tube on my manual crank jack with the calipers.
Tube OD on the existing jack is ~2.20Ē.
There is a little room in the plate holes outside of the existing jack, but not muchÖ
I was thinking Iíd like to go with the 3500, but if itís not going to fit, the 3000# model should still work.

I did not do the power jack "yet"........lol. I did do some research and the 3000# barker is plenty for the 25rs, not to mention the price. But, if you like overkill like I do, the 3500# would be the way to go.

MrSen.

I do like overkill...

Hey, jenielsen,
Do you know the model number for the 3000# jack you ordered?
Was it a 2-1/4" tube, and did it fit well?

Sorry, I don't know why I don't get emailed when someone replies to this thread. It says that I'm on Instant email notification and my email in my profile is right...
Anyway, here is the one I got (upper left corner - Hi Power 3000):
http://www.barkermfg.com/product_pag...wer_jacks.html

Not sure on the tube size, and my trailer is at my parents this weekend.

Just buy one... It's a great investment and you'll wonder why you ever did
without it. Mine picks up my 27BHSS + the back end of my 2007 Denali just fine...

I took your advice and swung past the dealer after work and picked up a 3500.

They gave me the "sale price" which was probably close to buying direct from Barker + shipping.

Install went pretty quick (~30 minutes at most).

Hopefully that's the last time I'll be sweating from jacking the trailer tongue!
