Battery relocation

I have a 2014 Wildwood TT where the battery box is just behind the propane tanks and strapped to the trailer chassis. I remove the battery during storage and have it on a charger at home. I literally have to move one of the propane tanks out of the way to just get to the battery box, so I was thinking of moving the battery to the front outside storage compartment and leave a bus bar connection (covered) where the battery box was just in case I have to use jumper cables. The battery box will just clear the storage compartment door without the cover on. I can install the cover once the box is inside of the storage compartment.

I guess once a gearhead always a gearhead!

I had to move the tanks forward on the tongue to install the WDH brackets.
Is that an option for you?

I would suggest you vent the battery box to the outside of the trailer.

if you're going to all that trouble, put the battery box on a slide so you can just pull it out to service.

If you have the standard battery box, it's very tall campared to the battery height. It's also open vented. You might want to get an aftermarket box. One that's shorter and sealed, but with a vent connection. You should have it vented, preferably to the outside of the chasis.
