The wire is about 15 feet each way so 30 feet. I measured about a .24 volt drop at the switch compared to off the battery. Going to put a switch in the battery box.

I stand corrected. That is a long way. So yes if you can put the switch at the battery and shorten that run it would make your system more efficient.

And switch to LED lights if you haven't already.

An update. Relocated the BSO switch to the front of the trailer and removed 19 feet of 6awg wire.

Trailer is new and already has LED lights.

Replaced the WFCO converter/charger with a Xantrex inverter/charger so we can watch tv at night without the generator running. So far I'm very impressed!! Waiting till spring to replace 12 V marine battery with Trojan T-145's.

The load depending on the circuit, if series or parallel. If it is a series circuit the total number of the load is added to the sum of the circuit. As parallel circuit is a lower amount of amperage and more efficient. Led lighting is also a Lowest forum of load on the circuit draw. I would also install a load protection device near the Power supply to insure that the circuit is protected. Happy wiring.
