Battery Upgrade Forester 2401R

I have started to add Solar to my RV and to get the most use out of it I decided to start by upgrading to 2 Trojan T105. This required that I raise the top step by 1 1/2" a side benefit of this is my wiring is much neater.

Wish I Had Your Skills

I looked to see where you live. Would have paid you to do that to mine. I decided to upgrade the batteries in our new 2017 2371 Transit Class C and was dissappointed I couldn't fit T105's. So I'm about to order 2 Trojan group 27's. Not as good as the T105's but still better than 1 Interstate group 27 dual purpose. Well done.

So you replaced 2 12 v for 2 6 v? Isn't that decreasing AH?

Not really, the original batteries had 90 Ah usable the 6 volts give me 120 Ah.
