BBQ bracket
Has anyone installed a bracket on their travel trailer to hang a BBQ on?
Any help or videos would be appreciated.

I installed a slide bracket for a rvq grill.
I don't have a pic but I can get one tonight.
I hung mine so the screws went into the floor of the rv.
pre drilled the holes thru the fiberglass side then filled the holes with silicone, put silicone on the screws and then siliconed around bracket.

Turbs did you use any sealant on that thing...... I'm awaiting pics I have the outside kitchen but don't trust the brackets holding it on they look a little sketchy as well as under engineer'd

I have the out side kitchen to.
I'll get you some pics this afternoon.
YES you must use plenty of silicone!
You do NOT want to get water in there otherwise the side could potentially delaminate.

Is yours in the kitchen slide area? Did I read somewhere that you used sealant

My o.k is not in a slide. I may have "dabbed" some sealant in the area of said mounting rail.

Make sure you use a backer inside the door for it. My 08 Flagstaff 831RLSS came loose from the wall the first time we used it and they had to go inside and put a backer board and longer screws. If you're going to put it on a door, you definitely will need the backer.

Thanks Turbs! I just bought the bracket yesterday at CW and wondered if I'd get some tips here on mounting it.

Biggest thing is hitting solid wood which is why I mounted it fairly low so I could hit the decking for the floor.

That makes sense. I have a Class C now that did not come with the rail. I likely won't hang a grill on it ,but I have a small, 16" table that has the same rail. I want to place that somewhere to hold my "guy stuff" outside....

Did that with my last TT too! Fabricated up a nice BIG shelf out of aluminum with folding supports that hung off the bracket. Never used the grill at all - stayed boxed in the garage till we sold that TT.
