Bench Seat cushion slides

Has anyone got a fix to keep the dinette bench seat cushions from sliding while sitting on them? Or sliding in and out of the bench seat. I tried some weird sticky triangles as seen on tv and they don's work. Will Velcro stick to the cushion and the wood base? Ideas?

I would try the Command Velcro strips, they seem to stick better.

I would start with three strips.

Stick one complete strip X three on the wood first, press hard.

Then pull off the paper and put the cushion in place, sit on it over where the strips are.

I get them at Walmart, they are also called picture hanging strips.

We use this. We had to find a "thicker" version but the new stuff works well.

There were a few good answers to this in another thread a couple of months ago. I put some velcro down and it works well, I have not had the cushions slide since I did it. It is probably best to sew the velcro to the cushions but i tried the no hassle way first and so far it works. In a couple of spots I just replaced the original velcro with new velcro.

I put some long velcro strips along the top of the bench to add friction. These strips were used for keeping entrance mats from slipping at my business.

Thanks all. I will try Velcro and see how it works. I do have velcro (factory installed) on the back support cushion, but not the seats.
