What is your rear hitch attached to? I'm looking to put a rear receiver on my 2604, and having trouble finding something that looks like it will fit (the brackets to the frame). From the little I can see, your frame/bumper arrangements looks the same as mine.
Thanks.

I bought a bracket kit on e-trailer.com.
After reading entries from seasoned RV's here, opted to take their advice and not mount it to bumper.
Hope this helps!

I thought it looked like a hitch bracket added to the frame. I'm looking at those, but don't see how I have enough room to mount it. Do you have the enclosed underbelly? Maybe if I dropped a panel or two I could see a way to do it.
Thanks for responding.

I purchased this hitch to mount to the frame of my 23IKSS. There was not enough room to mount it. Measure everything before you buy.
So I had to scrap that idea and beef up the bumper with these mount n lock safety struts. Now I can attach bikes right to my bumper without fear the bumper falling off.
Another forum member named RockfordRoo found a way to weld the hitch to his frame. He has a thread about it on this forum.
Have Fun!
Ron

Sorry... Did not mean to confused anyone. I did not mount that large frame mounted hitch to my bumper. I used a bumper hitch.

Thanks, Ron. I looked at my frame situation, and don't see any way to make the bolt on (or weld on) hitch work. I saw your thread about the Safety Struts, and think that is the way I will go. If I take the spare tire off, the bike rack and bikes I intend to use will only be 10-20 pounds heaver than the spare tire and rack that have been on the bumper since I bought it.
I also saw RockfordRoo's posts, but he doesn't have the enclosed underbelly.
Thanks for responding.

It bolted right onto the beams. The kit I got had a size range. I simply trimmed off the excess when all measured out.
Definitely didn't want a bike rack torqueing the bumper. There was another thread in here where folks were posting disaster pix of bike racks that had twisted bumpers and cracked bumper welds. Put the fear in me, and I went with a hitch mount like in my pix.
Hope this helps!

Bike options for pop up camper
Hii,
I have a 2008 rockwood 2317G that I tow with a 2013 Honda Pilot. I am looking at bike hauling options for 5 bikes. I have already been warned about hanging anything off the puny bumper on the back (1” by 3”). It has been suggested that I look at an A-frame, roof rack on the trailer, roof rack on the car, or front of the car rack. I don’t really like the roof options because of wind drag, but maybe it isn’t too bad. The A-frame could work but if it is too high then I may not be able to slide out the beds without removing the whole assembly. So was left with the front of the car, but concerned about sight lines, especially with 5 bikes. Any experience/advice out there?

See Post #2 for what I had put on my Roo 19 and Post #12 for a similar setup on my Mini Lite:

Any local weld shop can probably do it for you. There are some other options in the thread.

Towing with a Pilot really limits your choices, ESPECIALLY with 5 bikes.
Rear bumper is too weak.
Putting on the A-frame may exceed the Pilot's hitch capacity.
Front mount on a smaller tow vehicle may affect vision.
Personally, as an avid cyclist, your best option is a roof rack, since you don't have a truck. There's so little air drag, it's not even noticeable.
