better quality slide out cover

Which slide top cover do you think is of better quality, the Dominic or the carefree of Colorado. I am getting a new trailer and need to make a decision. Thanks in advance ..

Of the two, I'd go with the Dometic. It is 12 ounces as opposed to Carefree's 11 ounces.

No they are not.
I'm still on the fence about buying one at all.
My slide is 9 feet wide, but only 18 inches deep. Hardly deep enough to roll a topper out.
I'm more concerned about protecting the seal from UV than anything else.

My old trailer had a 18 inch slide. I got it when I purchased the trailer new. The dealer put it on for free. That was a good deal. They do serve a purpose. They protect the seals from damage. And the seals are protect as well. I will buy the one that also covers the vinyl, because I caught mine on a road sign that was leaning out into the travel lane.
