I have been wanting the bike rack w/spare carrier for a while now but can't convince DW on the $225 to ship to me in Vegas. 😞

I put a 2" receiver on the front of my 3500 Chevy and purchased a bike rack for that. I feel it gets "less" abuse up front than on the tail end of my 5th.

On my FR tt it was possible to mount the drop down bike rack seven inches farther forward than from factory , much less bounce and length . I mounted the spare tire on top of platform , does not drag . I have a generator box for my Honda 3,000 and a seven foot cord to tt . We tow over twenty thousand miles per year for work and have had no problems . I have the platform secured so it can not bounce ! I am maxed out weight wise with factory specs but I carry the weight much better supported as the platform is very near the center of the bumper and seven inches forward . Hang over is the killer .
