I replaced the thin boards under the table seats with some 3/4" plywood my father in law had. I added the bike clamps that I had. When we don't need them I flip the boards. I can carry 4 bikes in the TT. I just need to grab a pad to cover the table.

I did the same thing except I got tired of flipping the entire piece of plywood over. I cut the plywood lengthwise down the middle and put a piano hinge on it. Screwed half of it down and drilled a grab hole in it. Now all I have to do is open it up and they are right there and I don't hit the walls with my plywood anymore. I also have an easier way to get under my benches rather than trying to lift the whole piece up I can just open the door.
