Block Of Wood For Front Jack

I took an 8x8 treated block of wood and pre cut commercial grade floor covering then applied 3M HI-Strenght 90 Spray Adhesive to the wood sureface and to the back of the floor covering (one side at a time) waited approx 5 mins before appling floor covering, then I used pop revits....I removed the heads to the revits and used them as nails because I like the looks of the round heads, any way I used them down the center of the long side and completely covered both end pieces. I used 3/4 aluminum angle, all cut to size and used complete pop revits on all corners. I plan on adding some kind of handle so I can pick it up with one hand.

That'a one good lucking tongue block. it's almost a shame to mar it up by putting the jack pad on it.

Very nice piece. Hope it stays put. I know campers are the most honest people but nice things have a habit of walking away

You should put hinges on one side and a locking hasp on the other. Some fool will steal it and spend hours trying to get it open to get the "tools" out!

Once I use It the first time I am going to mark it and use the same spot on the same side.

You got a point, I guess it turned out better then I thought it would, now I may have to come up with a way to make sure it stays put. I make extend this project and make the same kind of blocks to go under the stablizer jacks....Back to the drawing board........

Dude, you don't have enough to do!
But that is absolutely, positively, undoubtedly the coolest
front jack block I've ever seen.

PS. can I come live in your garage???.....

I built a tongue block for our 26bhxl, with a twst. (Pics to follow). Since it also wise to have jack handy for changing a flat, I combined them. The block has a ramp on one end and 2 small 'stops' on top. Drop the jack pad on it at camp, or run the good tire up on it on the road. One block, two problems solved. Sweet. Not as pretty as yours, but at a saving of $40 for a ramp jack, I can handle the looks.
