Blue Ray/Stereo/TV upgrade

Here are some pics I replace the TV that came the unit. It was a Toshiba 40"(Bad TV. Forest River reimbursed me for a TV that I bought locally). So I was able to purchase one that I really wanted, with all of the bells and whistles. The TV I put in was a 42" Vizio. The Vizio was actually narrower and not as tall as the Toshiba because the bezel was only 1/2" wide all the way around. To my advantage. I first took out the small board above the original TV that gave me about 2" more height. I purchased shelving material from Lowes that was the same color as the cabinet. I believe it was called cherry color. Almost an exact color match. 12" x 48" piece gave me enough material to make a shelf and two uprights to support the shelf on both side. I also installed an upright in the middle. I used the same bracket that the old TV was attached to but had to flip it and drill 4 mounting screws to the TV. As for the stereo I ran the speaker wire through the floor behind the entertainment center and attached it to the PVC conduit under the slide out so it would move with the slide and not get pinched anywhere. On the main slide out I drilled a couple of small holes in the 2" square tubing the the slide out is on. As you can see in the pics. This was the easy way and shortest. I did purchase wire and spliced it in to give me enough wire to run the speakers up the wall and mounted them at ear level. I placed the subwoofer behind the recliner. It was a perfect fit. If you do not want to drill small holes in the 2" tube then you could run the wires back to where the power wires are for the main slide out and attach them there. Just more work. Remember to keep the polarities correct for the speakers. I have not done so but will be installing the coaxial antenna inputs for the direct TV receiver under the right hand slide out. Should not be an issue. One could install the receiver in the cabinet where Forest River intended it to go but it only has coaxial cable going to the TVs but I wanted HD in the motorhome. Awesome sound and picture My wife likes the Bluetooth capability to play her music and answer the phone through the radio or tv. The wireless on both of them allows me to download content like Netflix from the Internet and stay connected with all of our devices.

Now this is camping!

So this isn't 12v compatible obviously. I want to upgrade the crappy Jensen TV in MH but wasn't sure if it had to be 12v compatible. I think you answered my question, looks good.
