Bumper struts

I know through much discussion that hanging bicycles off the rear bumper of our trailers is probably not the best idea. Some have gone to great lengths and come up with some very ingenious ways to minimize the potential hazard of doing so. I saw on Amazon that they have bumper struts that bolt to the frame and cradle the bumper at each end. I was wondering what others think about this.

Better than nothing. I think a good welder/fabricator could add some angle iron braces for close to the same price.

I put these on my mini lite 2306 and have done 2 trips with them already. Seem to be holding up nicely.

I'm relocating my spare and was curious. As to how these would improve the safety margin if I decide to add a. Carrier to the bumper. I'm not so much worried about my stuff as I am the folks behind me.

Install is easy about 20 mins, I used some clamps to ensure they would stay right to the bumper when drilling
