Bunk mod for Toddlers
Has anyone successfully modified the bunks with some type of guard for Toddler use?

TIA!

I didn't do a mod, I just purchased a set of these bedrails and attached them to the bed with a couple of screws. They could be lowered with ease.
Once the kids outgrew them, I unscrewed them and gave them to a friend that had a little one. They have now moved on to another family.

We just added a bunk rail to the bunks in our Rockwood. The current trailer has a diagnal access to the full size bunks so we used a short baby gate to make a gate.

I took shelf brackets, and a nice piece of maple. Stained it, attached the shelf bracket under the mattress.
Used a latch, to be able to remove as needed.

I use the kind that slides under the mattress. My little one if 10 but its a far fall from the top bunk. Her weight keeps it in place.

Try using a pool noodle under the sheet.

Yes I forgot about that! We took the gate down the end of last summer for the then 2.5 year old and used a noodle as a way to keep her from working her way out of the bed as she rolled in her sleep. IS THERE NOT ANYTHING A POOL NOODLE CANNOT DO!
