Bunkhouse bunkbed modification

I have a 2014 salem hemisphere 356 q b q. In the bunkhouse, the bunk bed flips down over the couch. Adults cannot sit with the bed down, with it up it blocks 1 of the 2 small windows in the bunkhouse.I was wondering if I removed the flip down bunk bed and made it into a trundle bed underneath the couch if that changes the value of the camper any.also would like to do other modifications to correct the design flaws of the unit. How far can I go before it's not worth the 50 G's I paid?

Ten feet off the lot and it's not worth the 50gs if your careful and have a place to safely and dry store what you take out it can all go back in if you decide to upgrade. We bought or 2011 355QBQ used and the flip down bed was on the backs all of the outside kitchen in the slide I'm in the process of making it a built in couch but we're not worried about resale as we picked it up depreciated .
