cedar creek cottage holding tank removal

Hello, DW and I are contemplating a Cottage for fulltiming and we would set it up on blocks and possible tie downs (although I've not researched this yet) but either way was wondering if anyone has either order one without tanks (I know you can on some Keystone trailers) or had them removed altogether and install a house type toilet?

hello. I have a Cedar Creek Cottage beside me at my seasonal site. The owner has a tank and RV toilet. One issue with a regular toilet is flushing through sometimes a log un vented length of pipe. This could pull the water out of the traps in the sinks and shower. Other thing is the force of dumping the tank flushes all bad stuff away.
Winterizing a regular toilet takes a little more antifreeze as well.

The owner next door developed poo mountain as he left the tank valve open. Took weeks to get rid of that and then line unground was plugged.

Thanks for replying, but sewer line is vented and I don't see that as being a problem. Trailer would be in a RV/mobile home park with regular sewer system so I'm guessing sewage would get flush on a regular basis.
