Cheap Leds

Order a 16ft 5050 led roll for 10$ a pack of pig tails for 5$ from Amazon and was able to do all my lights way cheaper then getting the led bulbs.

They look good but are they bright enough? I see many lights with the same 5050 description on Amazon. What specifically did you order?

I order these SUPERNIGHT (TM) Cool White 5M / 16.4FT 5050 SMD Flexible LED Strip Lights 300 leds or 60led/m LED Light.They look bright ill see later when it gets dark

How are they connected into the existing light? Are these the same type as the lights everyone uses for the outside of the camper

Probably could run to strips in the same housing and get more light, should not be to much of a problem to get it brighter!

All finish i think the look way better then before i also installed my 5050 water proff multicolor leds under the awning

Definition of lumen:

The lumen (symbol: lm) is the SI derived unit of luminous flux, a measure of the total "amount" of visible light emitted by a source. Luminous flux differs from power (radiant flux) in that luminous flux measurements reflect the varying sensitivity of the human eye to different wavelengths of light, while radiant flux measurements indicate the total power of all electromagnetic waves emitted, independent of the eye's ability to perceive it. A lux is one lumen per square meter.
