Wink Check out my new rack!

I've been wanting to put a cargo rack on the back of my camper. I did some research, read all the pro's and con's but kept putting it off.
Started de-winterizing the camper last week to get ready for our annual Memorial Day camping trip. Everything was fine and worked like it should. As my wife and I are going through what to take, what we should buy, what goes where, I remembered about the little generator we bought last year. I'm looking around thinking where I can put it and the best place I could come up with was "the back porch" that we didn't have.
I looked it over for a couple days and got an idea in my head. Got the materials I would need and finally got to work on it Sunday afternoon.

Here are some pic's in process and finished, well except for the spare tire. Still trying to figure out the best way to reattach it.

Used 1/2" grade 8 bolts to attach the 2 support rails to the camper frame.

Layed out the basket framework to see how it would look and line up.

Took it in and welded everything together.

Got it all together and on the rails welded it on (and bolted) and finished painting it.

Go get a GM truck spare tire winch and mount it under your camper.

Your rack looks good I hope it works out for you.

Looks really nice, great job! I would probably think about installing an auxiliary set of taillights on it, since it is black and low.

Or some two inch 13 led chicken lights across the back

As someone who is just learning to weld, I love seeing projects like this. Very nicely done.
