Cleaning up interior trim

I'm getting tired of looking at the fake drapes in my 2014 V-lite. They don't do anything because there isn't anything to pull shut, purely decoration. There are sunscreens on all the windows that are opaque so I will have privacy.

If I remove them and the fake head board that has come loose, there will be holes from the mounting brackets. What could I use to fill the holes that would have a cohesive appearance? I bet I could shed 150# taking all this out.

I only have one window with drapes but that was the first thing I did when I got my trailer was get that stuff out...

If you need a touch up on the holes, then fill with a dab of Spackle (from paint store) and maybe try to get a paint match from them also...

We had gosh-awful drapes in our 378 coach also. Just took them down in the bedroom, and made a balance with trim "wood" that matches the slide trim.Click image for larger version
