Clever Cover by Trailersphere for tongue jack

Not sure if anyone has seen or is using this but last year I purchased a Clever Cover (made by Trailersphere) for the FIC jack on my Rockwood. It has exceeded all my expectations. Besides protecting the jack itself, it has clips to hang the safety chains up off the ground and a shrouded pouch for the light/brake plug. And it locks on with a standard padlock to prevent tampering and theft.

We put one on ours and love it. Our previous cover was a 5 gallon bucket, as we’ve had a previous jack on our previous trailer get waterlogged during a hard stormy weekend. It looks a lot better, and love that it has the clips for the chains, and a spot for the plug.

Good to know! Mine just came today via Amazon for my FIC-equipped 2707WS.

My buddy has had one for a few months. He loves it and hasn’t had any issues with it:

I still use the 5 gallon bucket. For one, I often need a five gallon bucket when camping. Soaking Corn on the cob in sugar water being one of my favorite uses.

Two, I can wrap the electric cord around the jack and then tuck it inside it and hook the safety chains to the metal handle. Three, the safety chains then give me a place to hang my camping sign!

I'm not pooh-poohing the cover by any means, I had one once (not as nice that came with my jack) and it got taken off and laid on my bumper and lost along the highway on the way home one sad camping trip. Seems I'm irresponsible sometimes. It's why we can't have nice things is what I'm told by my wife ;-)
