Coffee Maker Elevator

After trying different types of coffee makers the only one that made a pot of coffee to my liking is the Bunn-O-Matic. As you can see it would take up a good amount of the little counter space between fridge and micro.

Since there was unused space between the fridge and the micro that was where it had to go. Problem!!! it fills from the top so with it up there it can't be filled.

Problem solved
Coffee Maker Elevator

Shelf rides on two HD drawer giudes at an angle parrallel to each other

In the up position the shelf sits on a swing out arm from the wall.

The electrical outlet in the background was also added

Make mine 2 cream 1 sugar...

Very nice mod - frees up some counter space, always a premium in RVs

Good work.

That is a great idea, we have a Tassimo and a Keurig for our trailer. Had the Tassimo first and it does not like the honda EU3000is generator so we bought the Keurig for this summer. I like the Bunn machines but because I hate old coffee (any more than an hour old I won't drink it) we went with the machines and they make perfect coffee every cup, just a bit more money per cup but everyone can have the kind they like.

wow - Impressive - That is a great idea -
How does it stay while you are driving? Do you take it off the shelf and store it or do you put some sort of a strap across it to keep it from coming off the shelf

The swing arm was not purchased. I made it out of two pieces of bar stock.
The bolt in the swing arm is lock tited in place so it won't loosen. On the other end is a short allen screw.

The Coffee maker stays on the shelf thruout the camping season and doesn't move during traveling. It's not held down. It's own weight keeps it in place.

I take it out when camper is put in cold storage for the winter

If you get a Bunn like in the pictures it'll be a long time before you purchase another coffee maker. The one in my shop is used daily and in going strong in it's 9th or 10th year.

The Bunn's are nice, if they would just make an "On/Off" switch to last.
