Connecting Camping Stove to outside gas line

We are getting our new Rockwood 2306 camper in a few weeks.
We are upgrading from a pop-up. We have never cooked inside the pop-up. We used a camping stove and a small gas grill. We used this off of a 20lb propane tank with a tee.
The new camper has an exterior gas grill. Has anyone added a tee or some other connection, so you can use the outside gas grill and camping stove at the same time.

the exterior gas grill is low-pressure, while nearly all camping stoves are high-pressure.
high-pressure stoves will not work with the pigtail that the grill attaches to.

I have the same unit as you are getting - 2306 except mine is a 2011

like stated above the side kick grill is low pressure which is what runs thru the camper.

if I was to replace the side kick I would replace it with a similar unit that hangs off the side - very convenient.

when you get your trailer - check under the front where the main gas line comes off of the regulator and check to see if the line is up against the metal frame with minimal slack - mine was but wasnt showing any signs of chaffing as of yet but as a precaustion I put some wire loom around the hose to protect the hose from any possible chaffing.

yes - every thing inside the camper is low pressure including the fridge

you will have the two tanks off the front of the camper and under the cover you will see the regulator with the two pigtails going to the tank and one line going under the camper.
