Has anybody replaced the standard hot water heater with an instant type?

I looked into that option, but most users were not happy with the lack of temperature control i.e., too hot or to cold during use. Still looking for an appropriate solution.

I had our 6 gallon WH replaced with an Attwood on demand. No complaints. It did take some adjusting on my part to get it dialed in, but the ability to take a hot shower (for as long as you like) made it worth it. We (family of four) camped 21 days in June and had no issues.
