Couch Replacement - Some Questions

Joy and I are thinking about replacing the hide-a-bed couch in our 2007 Flagstaff 831BHSS with something a little more comfortable. But, before I blunder into this project full-bore (as I usually do), I have a couple of questions:

(1) Is the existing couch fastened down to the floor in any way, and

(2) What will I find underneath when I move it? I don't mean things like cat's toys and dust. I mean is there carpeting, or holes, or flooring, or etc?

From previous threads on this subject I am presuming that the back is removable to facilitate taking it out of the TT.

Thanks for the help,

Rick

It is not the jack-knife type, it is the fold-out type.

In my TT the couch is not secured to the floor. I'm pretty sure it will be carpeted just like the rest of the floor and I can't imagine there will be any holes. The only way to be sure is to move it and see what is there.

In our Flag.V the (Air Bed Sofa) is screwed down,it is in the slide, full carpet. If removed just the (4) contact points of the carpet would need to be (Fluffed Up). PS,as a sofa this unit is very comfortable, for (Trailer Furniture). Youroo!!
