Cutting board storage idea

I stole this one from rv life magazine

2 of the adhesive hooks upside down help hold the sink cover in place which also doubles as a splash guard next to the stoveClick image for larger version

I thought about doing something like that, but was afraid the heat from the stove might damage it.

Plus, is your's actually cutting board material? Ours is the same material as the countertop. I'm thinking about getting some HDPE and cut-to-fit...

It's more of a sink cover but I call it a cutting board. It's the same material as the countertop but I can't see the heat being an issue based on that-the counter is next to the oven/stove and hasn't melted.

That being said, I'll also keep an eye on it but I'm thinking there's enough space(couple inches) away from direct heat that it shouldn't be an issue.

Clever idea thanks.

We have a wood cutting board that we leave on the dinette table. Under it is a piece of non slip cupboard matting that keeps it from slipping while we drive.

FYI, that matting makes a great non-slip shower mat and dries very fast.

Thanks again for the share.

That will work great in my outdoor kitchen, I never knew what to do with the sink cover/cutting board.
