Thank you for your inspiration. At the International Rally I went to the Shipshewana Flea Market in search of a vendor who could possibly so a similar project for me. Fortunately I found a gentleman who made a similar project for me; only in corian. I am so happy to have seen your original post, this has given me about 75% more counter space.

Cost was under $200, including the tax and shipping. It all depends on the type(s) of wood you want. It is plenty thick, and is very stable, for kitchen prep. We usually use the sink for storage while on the road, so I can't speak to how it stays put while towing. We'll try it on our next excursion and let you all know.

I LOVE your cutting board. I do use my new corian board for food prep. It's not nearly as thick as your wooden board, so I wouldn't feel comfortable putting a very heavy item on it or dropping an item of significant weight on the corian either. Yet it's perfect for my needs. Only the Rockwood's with the upgraded corian countertops get the usable sink covers.

Our's cost $45 and they made it while we were at the International Rally, so it didn't have to be shipped.

Still, I wouldn't have thought about having one made without seeing your beautiful cutting board in the OP. Thanks.

Beautiful! I still be making mine in the next couple of months with similar woods/colors. I will also be making one to cover my stove top. I removed the crappy metal accordion top from the stove and threw it in the junk pile. I'll post photos when they're completed. Have to get through the fall shows first before i can make something for myself!
