Dinette removal

Hi all i have a Lexington 283 gts over here in the united kingdom.
My question is can i remove the dinette in one slide out and replace with a sofa or double recliner,has anyone done this or know someone who has,any information would be appreciated,thanks in advance.Regards Phil

I know it has been done and posted on this forum. They even posted the source for the recliners. Try doing a search for the thread.

We haven't done it as we're new to our MH but it has been discussed at length a few times now. I don't see how it would be a huge job for someone inclined to that sort of renovation (carpet, fit, finish, etc...)

@Mikegjax, I'll search the forum for it too. Sounds very interesting...

@philbrawn, post a followup if you proceed! Would love to see what you do...

I've heard of several dealer's moving the layout in slides.
We had one dealer that was wanting to change the u-shaped dinet and couch out for the super loung that we wanted on a unit they had in stock. We declined, mainly because of thier price, and ordered like we wanted at another dealer.
I do think that you may have a few holes in the walls that might be visible, and some carpet imprints, but otherwise I'd say your good!
