Dinette Table Fix?

Kitchen Table Fixes...

Our unit didn't take long until the kitchen table poles just don't seem to work any more. One person on one side leans on it and it slants towards them and then the same thing happens for the person on the other side.

I was reading an article about these table legs, but they're very expensive.

Here's the article:
The RV Remodel

Here's the table product link:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...2&tag=tfr0b-20

Kind of cool except for the fact that the legs have to go down into the basement, and probably not an option for most RV'ers.

Though it would be cool if the table went up and down from dinette to berth!

Anyone else have a good fix for the dinette table? I suspect the factory put on the cheapest mounts and I don't want to do the duct tape fix.

Thanks.

Steve

We went with dream dinette, one hand to chane it up/down. We didn't have the trouble with the legs. It was just to hard to change it. It not a problem for use now. Well worth time and cost.

Hi there, I mounted a "z" shaped piece of metal between the table and the wall. This kept our table solid up to Alaska and back this last summer. The metal to wall needed extra wood support because the wall has a lot to be desired.

Do you have the 2 pole type? I solved my issue by adding a 3rd pole....rock solid now!

Don't know why they don't do this to start with.
