dining table too large?

Has anyone modified the dining area in a Cedar Creek or Silverback fifth wheel? The models we like have slides that close so that you cannot pull over and get into the kitchen without opening a slide -- the dining table is flush against a kitchen counter. We are thinking that we'd replace the table, and wonder if anyone has done this. TIA.

No Photo of too-large dining table

I don't have a photo. We tested both models that interest us, slides in and out. They really do close so completely that you cannot walk through. If the table were smaller, you could do it. So I want to know if anyone has replaced the table, how, with what, etc.
Thanks,
Gwen

We just said "YES" to the 32TK, and we will do a modification to the dining table. My current thought is to make it a table for two, with a flip-top that will open to seat 4. I'd love to post a photo, but can't quite figure out how to do that yet. Gwen

Fixed the table!

We took off the table top, then removed the flip-up leaf, then positioned the top with a 90 degree turn. It works! Now we can keep the slides in, but 'slither' past the table and/or the sofa, and have access to the entire RV.
Love the new unit!
We had one problem, a leak in the shower, but husband fixed it.
