You could add a 120v remote controlled outlet adapter like the ones used for lights or lamps. HC

I have a 12v piezo remote switch I can use and do away with the flapper door switch entirely. We used it on the old camper for the bedroom oh light.

I installed ours in the under bed storage area. I still need to install a vent to exhaust the area. We are using it with the bed in the up position, for now. I mounted the hose connection on the face of the bed frame, facing down the steps.
We store the hose and attachments in the same area. DW loves the way it performs.

Might try a furnace floor vent mounted in an inconspicuous place, but if you store all the attachments there under the bed, why bother with a vent? The storage compartment is already open.

I agree. Thats the reason I haven't done anything as of yet. I found a nice wooden vent on Amazon, if I feel I need it. I could mount it on the street side of the frame and it would not be obvious.

Mounted mine in the storage area under the step and the hose connection in the 2nd step. You can also see one of the two gas lift cyl I added to the storage door. Added them to the other two storage doors also.
