Do the step supports work?

Sye, ask how and if the step supports do work. So, those that have either factory made or OC made step supports DO THEY WORK? Comments both pro & con.

I have the store bought ones. You will need 2. Most of the time I am near a slab and a 2X4 is the right height. It stiffens the steps a lot. At my AZ site I made a set of steps from a ready made stair thingy from HD.

I have a complaint that it sticks out beyond trailer when steps are in the stowed position. I have to remove step support before traveling which can be a pain in the butt.

I have store bought ones and they work great. Use them on both the front and back steps into the TT. Steps have a nice steady feeling.

Mine adjust from 11/2 to 16in.,cover about all the encountered extremes in elevation at campsites. Store totally unnoticed. Easily adjusted by hand. Best part (CHEAP)! Youroo!!
