The OC Awning tie downs (OCATD?) work well. Good to at least 90mph - well that was as fast as the got to on his MC before he "tripped" on the tie outs/ground screw. No pics as he was not hurt and left even faster. No damage.

I was wondering what to use instead of the dog screws for tie downs. This campground I was at this past weekend had some sort of hard packed gravel filings. I could not screw the dog screws in at all. Any advice?

I have used 10" gutter spikes in situations like that.
