Dometic snap disk thermostat

Does anyone know what the open / close temp. Is on the snap disk thermostat that dometic uses for the external cooling fan on the dometic refrigerators? [emoji848]

Dometic uses a snap disk thermostat to turn the exterior fridge cooling fan.
I'm wondering what the open / close temp is.

If my translation is correct he is asking if anyone knows the pre-set on and off temperatures of the cooling fan thermostat on the domestic fridge.

If the sample picture is the same one as on the refrigerator then the open temperature setting is 90F and the close temperature setting is 110F. These settings are for a model 610044 controller and the info was found on climatedoctors.com in the event this was not the correct snap disk controller you speak of.

Sorry bout that. Not near my 320 right now but I suspect if you go to that web site with your controller model number you should hopefully find your upper and lower limits, they had a lot of different controllers listed there.

The switch will be labeled (or, as on some, it will be embossed on the body somewhere), with markings similar to those in the picture. The F means Fahrenheit, the 110 means it will close (since this is a "normally open" switch) @ 110 degrees F. The 20 means it will reopen at 110-20=90 degrees.
You can replace it with any manufacturer's, similarly configured and rated switch.
Best place to get one is at a appliance repair parts, or HVACR supply (Google is your friend).

Problem is I can't reach it nor read it or I'd have done that.
Maybe I'll try a extension mirror.

Turbs... I just ordered one from the dealer. It will be a week or so before I have a chance to go pick it up. I will post the specs when I get it

Sorry guys... I'm still waiting on it. I got the other things that I ordered from my dealer but the switch was on backorder

I'm glad to take one for the team and find out what the specs are... just wish the darn thing would show up. I want to install it and my fans so I can get the last piece of wood put in the storage cubby I put above the fridge.

Once we know the specs, you can get them many other places for about half of the price.

Yeah, I just need to know what the on / off temps are as a guide for setting my temp controllers.
No biggie I'm up and running.
Let us know.

We run the fans whenever the frig is turned on. 2 in the rear across the tubing and fins and 2 inside the frig. Keeping the back (fins and tubing) cool is the key to making the cooling unit as efficient as possible.
