Dressing Room Mod for the 23IKSS

I have always been a little disappointed in the size of the bathroom in our Shamrock 23 IKSS and for a big guy it's almost impossible to dress or bend over with the bathroom door closed. So this weekend I completed putting up a dressing room with flexible ceiling track. I ordered the ceiling track from for $42 (I believe it is also sold on Amazon) and it works great! The track kit I used comes with 6.6 feet of track, end stops, roller glides, ceiling mounting hardware (including screws) and even two roller glides that are magnetic to provide closures for a two curtain installation. as you can see, I did the two curtain installation and I'm very satisfied with the results. It's almost like having a spare dressing room with ample privacy to dress and, when not in use or during travel, you can simply tie the curtains back. The curtains do not get in the way of either slide-out and they look great! The DW picked out the curtains at a local Target store and I'm not sure what she spent on them, but other than the track I only spent another $4 at the dollar store for the hooks to hang the curtains. The only caution I would have is to avoid air ducts in the ceiling. The 23 IKSS has A/C ductwork that run length wise in the ceiling, but there was plenty of room to avoid them with the ceiling brackets.

That's a great idea! Thanks for sharing the pictures with it in use and also pulled back. The last picture was used to get an idea of how space it provided since I'm not familiar with your unit.

Great choice for "Living within my means" and camping for one...
