Dual hitch adapter for bike rack
As anyone ever used one of these to mount a bike rack to the hitch while towing? Is it safe to use or does the adapter compromise the towing capability?

These compromise quite a bit. Its rated for only 4,000lbs and your TT is twice that weight.

can't use it with a WDH and it rated too low for trailer weight.

you could go with a front hitch receiver.

If I owned a pickup again, I would consider one of these from Yakima to allow full access to the truck bed:

I should qualify that I used the bike rack pictured below with the above hitches.
I removed the lower "L" peace when using the rack with the first hitch.
I really like the set up it just won't work with a WDH.
