Easier access to storage under dining benches

When we installed our electric fireplace we had a couple of doors that we removed. It was always a problem removing the seats from the dining bench and fishing out what we had stored beneath. I cut out the ends of the benches, reenforced the opening, cut down the doors to fit and purchased a couple of rollout under bed storage containers. Makes all the difference in the world.

Our dinette has a drawer on one side and the other side has a door that opens up to the space under the dinette. We are wanting to get a plastic container like you have, that can be rolled out to access things stored underneath the seat. We can't find one that is small enough to fit our opening, which I think is around 15" wide. Where did you purchase your under bed storage containers? Do you know how wide they are?

Don't know the exact size and I can't get into the trailer at this time. The container, I think, came from Walmart. Just remembered where the pieces were at that I cut out. They are 18 inches wide so the containers are about 16 to 17 inches..

Hey Zinger 60. Those containers come from Walmart. I have several of them I use in my storage area accessed by outside doors only. They roll very easily with lids that actually have a positive catch to keep them shut.

I was just talking to my DW about doing something like this once we get our camper out of winter storage in a couple weeks.

I also have those same containers that I use in the outside storage compartments, I have 2 in the front and 2 in the rear they work great! I believe we bought ours at Menards.

The door opening under our dinette is only 15'x10 inches so we can't find any containers that small to fit the opening. We decided that my hubby is going to build a drawer on glides. It came with a drawer on the other side. Can't figure out why they didn't put one on that side.
