Easy rainy day mods.

With all this rain everyday here in Ohio , I thought I would do some easy mods for the camper to kill time. 1-chocks, 2- screen door bar. What is everybody doing to stay busy during all this rain ? its driving me nuts ( and I know it don't take much ) anybody camping in the rain ?

You Americans have indicated from time to time that the prices at Camping World may not always be the best for a variety of RV items.

Up here in Canada eh? (North of the 49th) we don't even have the luxury of having their locations to shop in. So there are a number of items we can't get our hands on, regardless of the price. Next time we're passing even remotley close to one, I want to pick up one of those screen door bars to save the screen from being pushed on........because the price to replace the screen will make the price for the bar seem like a steal!!!!!!

BTW.......I noticed the plastic slide to access the solid door handle in your photo is clear versus our stock one which is white plastic and cannot be seen through. Was that the way your screen door came or is that another accessory from CW?

PS........we're having an incredibly wet spring here too!!

I have seen the screen door rod on someone else's trailer and was thinking of getting one - seems like I am seeing more and more of them.
Nice Mod's btw too

Good job on the mods! Think I'm gonna do the screen-door mod sooner rather than later!

If your interested in the clear panels, you might look for one like this;

Here's a close up. The round, clear knob is spring loaded so you don't have to slide the panel over in order to open the screen door while having the main door latched opened. Just push down and you can then open the screen door and then the spring repositions the clear knob.

Here's the outside of the screen door with the panel opened so you can see the spring.

Here's another idea for the door. On my last trailer I also installed the lower screen protecter. Comes in handy if you have small children or pets.

Where can you get one of those spring loaded circles for the screen door?

Thanks......

Not really sure. Those are standard on LaCrosse tt's.
Check with your dealer or maybe tweedys.com or rvwholesalers.com.
