1/2" plywood for all pieces, hardwood "tip preventers" and 1.5" alum angle stop at back to prevent over retracting the slide too far. Click image for larger version

ID:	46681 the PVC is a "lock" which runs the full length of the bigger slide that is a full width slide, can be pulled from either side with brass handle. Rubbermaid totes, one tall in the center and two stacked on both outboard ends keeps stuff from rolling around.

This works pretty well for most things I carry. Also allows for good management of items and keeps the storage bay neat.
