Question Elect. outlet on slide

Most campers I've seen don't have any 110 outlets on the slide? Has anyone ever added on,and if so how?

i probably wouldn't. why not just plug an extension into the pedestal? run along side ur main power cord to min tripping hazard.

mine has an outlet on the side that has the entrance door.

Because of the slide action I would not try to install a 110 outlet on the slide. Your wires would have a lot of stress when the slide is in motion. I would install an outlet near the slide.

hummm...there is a difference between side and slide...was wondering why u had never seen an outlet on the side...
my entertainment center is in the slide. the electrical enters thru a curly cord underneath.

i still wouldn't mount one on the outside on the slide. it would have to be ground fault. u would also be trying to get it thru that vacuum bond siding.
