I've never installed them but here is a link to Part 1 of a 2 part video by "Love Your RV" on how he installed them on a Keystone Cougar.

On my Dutchmen Voltage forum there are numerous posts about them. All positive. Couple hour self installation. Apparently not too difficult. Everyone installs them for your reason or because of cable failures.

I found 4 actuators for the oem valves on ebay. All 4 came to $130, also ordered a controller with keyfob that will control all 4 indipenently. Hopefully get to do a bench test this weekend if it comes in and then install it. Pics and write up to follow.

Control board came in, so did the motors. Bench tested and works great. Now just have to install and set it up.Click image for larger version

Took advantage of the nice 60* days and installed everything. Just have to tiddy up a little more, run the power wires and add a fuse.Click image for larger version

Our valves are accessible but they pull to the side instead out to the front. This makes it very awkward and hard to own and close them. Anyone change the direction of the pull handles?

clock position

I'm not sure about your valves, but some of the electric valves require mounting between the 10 and 2 clock positions. I see you mounted yours around the 4 o'clockish position.

Those are the stock mounting positions from factory. All i did was mount bracket and motor.

We would sure like to change the black valve on our trailer. It pulls sideways and is hard to get to. Everything valves would be great if they would work here. Any suggestions?

You can try and fab up a pvc extension to lock and unlock when u setup, then have a second valve on the extension. This way the valve is not underneath the trailer. Other route is electric. I only had 1 valve that was in ur position. 2 valves under a slide. Doing the electric dump with a remote best thing i did.

CmySStailights, thanks. Electric would be nice if it isn't too costly to get installed. DH and I know better than to try wiring on anything we need to depend on!
