Electric jack

Who has replaced the old school crank jack with an electric one? Ian wondering how difficult this will be,the current one is triangle where it is attached and all I find online are circle. Will this work? Thanks for any help I get.

I ordered mine with an electric jack, so I'm no help with a replacement one, but I would think that the bolt pattern would be the same (I've been wrong before). Give em a call and see what the manufacture has to say.

I have the Barker 3500 it works great. Is a circle the OEM one was a Triangle. Most of the HD ones are 2 1/4 inch post some are 2 inches so check the hole in the frame. And order one that will fit your frame

Our Sabre came with an LCI power jack and it has a triangle base. Our old travel trailer has a Barker 3500 VIP with a round base. I switched them, no problems. If you put one on (IMO) the best way to do it is to hook it up to your tow vehicle, then remove the old and install the new.

I agree with AW. I replaced a triangle manual with a round electric and it matched up fine. Hooked it up to TV and had it installed in a few minutes. The only problem I had with mine was blowing fuses so I cleaned up the ground location and put in a better marine grade fuse holder. One of the best upgrades you can do to a TT with weight distribution.

I found replacing the tongue jack to an easy mod. I have the Barker 3000 VIP. It has the 2" shaft but comes with a sleeve for the 2 1/4" hole. It has an inline fuse as most of them do. Just three bolts, connect to power and you're in business.
