Electric Stabilizer
I have a 2016 Flagstaff 29FBSS. It came with the electric stabilizers on it and as most people on here have noticed, it isn't very stable. I have looked at a couple types of add-on pieces by different companies. Trying to read reviews and see if it will work with my setup. Then yesterday I stumble across this setup by Winfield. Looks like a ratchet strap between the legs/pads. If this is all I need, I have a bunch of ratchet straps. Has anyone used something like this? If not, has anyone put strongarms or something similar on a trailer similar to mine?
Thanks.

With our 832IKBS and the torsion axles, I installed a pair of large scissor style manual jacks, one on each side. Now I unload the suspension by about an inch before setting the stabs. It's not perfect, but much better.

Is the torsion axle or the electric stabilizers that cause the problem? My last trailer was two feet shorter but had leaf springs and manual stabilizers. It didn't have hardly any movement. This one moves a lot. I have a 10lb dog and I know every time he moves.

This is our first trailer so I can't compare to the leaf springs, but when my wife was walking in it prior to adding the jacks I could see the suspension moving so that's where I started to try to eliminate the movement. The stabs help but really can't take weight off the axles enough that they wouldn't move.

I have a 27 BEWS with the same issues.
Last trip I made a set of stabilizers that look like these:
Universal RV Stabilizer - Valterra 020106 - Stabilizing Jacks - Camping World
They seemed to make a difference when strategically placed under the TT.
Our next trip this weekend I am adding a new set of X Chocks to the equation.
Between the two and the electric"stabilizers", I hope to keep any movement to a minimum.
Curious to see the result.

My movement is up and down (small if any) and side to side (a lot). I have x chocks already. I can push on the side of my trailer and make it shake. I'm thinking that I may place a ratchet strap between the foot pads on the front and rear and recheck. I need someone to walk in it so I can locate the movement.

With X chocks, JR Strongarms, and rear stab, mine was pretty good.....but with another rear stab mounted in front of front axle, it's rock solid....

Part of the problem with an electric stabilizer (at least the ones I had on a 2010 5th wheel I owned) was that the whole stabilizer sits on a track. The idea that if the surface is uneven from side to side, the whole stabilizer can move to adjust for the uneven ground. This seemed to make the whole thing less stable. One day I climbed underneath and drilled a whole right in the middle through one side of the track and put a bolt and nut in the hole.
The downside is now you may need to use blocks on one or both sides if the ground is uneven but it did make the stabilizer much more solid side to side.
