Entry Door Auto "ON" Switch

Wanting to pick a few brains to see if anyone has any ideas on placing a switch on the entry door that will turn the interior ceiling light above the door on when door opens. My Bighorn had it along with a 1-2 minute delay that would turn off upon closure of the door and DW and I really miss that feature in our new Cedar Creek. Right now the ceiling light above door is switched along with the step light. In the process of putting LED lights under step with a dusk/dawn photoelectric switch to turn them on at dusk. should be able to keep existing switch on and have the other 2 switches control the lights.. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your replies. Steve
