I've done my roof also. I used the 8" tape and cut to width. 1 50' roll was plenty. Heading out for a long trip over Memorial Day. We'll see how it holds up. Heading north so expecting some showers for sure.
As Herk has mentioned, less mess than caulk and great coverage.

front seams?

Have any of you used it on anything besides the roof? Like possibly the front seams?

I thought of that too......just after I had re-caulked the seams with Proflex. That's some awesome stuff also. Can't see why the tape wouldn't work though.

I have a new 2011 Solera with the fiberglass roof. Would it be a good idea to put the tape on it?

Great idea. My 2010 Flagstaff 831RLSS had some of the caulking come loose on the rear corner over the winter and when I was cleaning it to take it for trade-in on our new Blue Ridge, I discovered that that corner had leaked. I'm going to do this to my Blue Ridge before it has the chance! Thanks!
